THE GAP WE SAW

You spent the money to make the phone ring.
The person answering it matters.

Personal injury firms invest heavily in marketing, referrals, and reputation to generate new inquiries. But intake is where all of that investment first meets a real person. And too often, capable people are expected to learn the legal context, professional expectations, client communication, and administrative side of the job while they are already doing it.

Legal Talent Foundry was built to move part of the learning curve before the hire.

We recruit the person, build the foundation, and give your firm a better starting point.

HOW WE RECRUIT

We recruit for the things that are harder to teach.

Legal experience is a plus, but it is not our starting point. We look for bilingual candidates with the communication skills, professionalism, attitude, and potential to become valuable long-term members of a firm.

01Communication

Clear English and Spanish, active listening, warmth, confidence, and the ability to connect with people.

02Professionalism

Reliability, preparation, responsiveness, follow-through, and an understanding that how they show up matters.

03Coachability

People who ask questions, receive feedback well, make adjustments, and genuinely want to improve.

04Ownership

Candidates who take their responsibilities seriously and understand that their work affects clients and the rest of the team.

05Growth Potential

People who want to learn, build a career, and become more valuable over time.

We're not looking for someone who can simply fill an intake seat.

We're looking for someone your firm may eventually want to promote.

HOW WE TRAIN

We don't train generic assistants.
We train personal injury intake specialists.

Candidates who move forward complete live, structured training built specifically around personal injury intake and the realities of working remotely with a U.S. law firm. This is not a passive course we hand them and hope they finish. We teach the foundation together, work through practical situations, answer questions, reinforce professional habits, and give candidates opportunities to apply what they are learning.

TRAINING IN ACTION

See what the training actually looks like.

Administrative Accuracy

Small details matter. Candidates learn to document what was said, clarify uncertainty, and avoid making assumptions.

Professional Communication training screenshot

Professional Communication

Clear, concise, action-oriented communication with clients and the rest of the firm.

PI Fundamentals training screenshot

PI Fundamentals

Candidates learn the basic concepts and terminology they need to understand what is happening around an intake.

Remote Work and Administrative Execution training screenshot

Remote Work + Administrative Execution

Capturing tasks, following up, closing loops, and communicating status instead of relying on memory.

The goal is not memorization.

It is understanding what the work means, why it matters, and how to do it professionally.

HOW WE EVALUATE

Training is also part of the evaluation.

We do not recommend someone simply because they completed the program. Spending time teaching candidates gives us something a resume and a short interview cannot: the opportunity to actually watch how they learn, communicate, respond to feedback, and improve.

Do they show up prepared?

Do they participate?

Do they ask thoughtful questions?

Can they receive and apply feedback?

Do they communicate professionally?

Are they reliable and consistent?

Do they improve as training progresses?

You are not meeting someone we found yesterday.

You are meeting someone we have already spent time recruiting, teaching, observing, and evaluating.

Your firm should still train someone on your firm. Your systems, software, scripts, standards, processes, expectations, and way of doing things remain yours to teach. Our goal is to give them a much stronger foundation before that training begins.

HOW PLACEMENT WORKS

From first conversation to placement.

You keep control of who joins your team. We do much of the recruiting, preparation, and evaluation before you meet them.

Tell us what you need

Share your schedule, time zone, hiring needs, and anything particularly important to your firm.

02

We prepare your matches

We identify candidates from our trained talent pool whose profile and availability align with what you are looking for.
